On November 14, 2023, the federal programs team and district EL teachers hosted the District EL Parent Night at Bob Jones High School. EL teachers, along with community members and other Madison City faculty and staff, hosted mini-sessions focused on instructional platforms, college and career information, and adult ESL classes throughout the community. At the end of the night, EL parents were able to share resources with one another, and the Pacific Pearl Kitchen food truck served dinner to families on their way out!
Feedback from our EL parents was positive and very thankful. We always enjoy having these events to support our Madison City EL families.
